Ordered a walker, they kept on telling me that it went to wrong warehouse. After 2 months cancelled order and asked for money back, they had excuse that owner was not available. I had already paid for it to be shipped to home. They closed office without notice, abandoned office. Phone is still active.

l pre ordered a scooter on 6/18/08 from a salesperson Derrick, by phone. l used a credit card and paid $645.42 with sales tax. l cancelled my order with Derrick on 6/26/08 and he said the refund would NOT be to the credit card. That should warn you right there. But l waited and called and waited and had a council on aging lawyer call, and waited. Finally l drove hundreds of miles and got a check which was not the full amount so l went to BBB and filed a complait. They set up arbitration and the owner Carlos Jerez never showed up. l got a decision, but no money.

l went to my credit card co. and they credited me the tax and penalty that they (1st Class Mobility) withheld. lsn't it illegal to keep tax on items not delivered? l see so many negative, no rip offs done by this company listed online, yet nothing happens to him. l filed an Attorney General form and sent them a lot of the copies of other peoples losses. Hopefully this business will not be allowed to continue bilking seniors and disabled.

l had to pay $50 to drive there and $5 to clear his account and the interest on my credit card etc. Merchants Circle has many ripped off customers since l dealt with them. lt keeps happening, they aren't getting their money.
