I bought a 2009 Nissan Versa and took it back 3 times, me and my husband, and the man that rode with me, could hear air through the driver door. The man said that he could hear it. Dusty, the man, at that time said, "You had to have air or you would not be able to breathe." On the way, I had a flat tire. It was 2 miles from the dealership. Dusty said he had no one to send out, even though there were 2-3 men sitting there in their office doing nothing every time I had been there, which was 3 times in 3 month.
The man that I bought the car from told me to call him and he would put the portable air tank in the trunk of a car and bring me air. It ruined the tire. I had to but another one, the dealer just a few miles would fix the tire if possible for nothing, as good business dealing, but Nissan was going to charge me about $35 to $50 to fix the tire. I went to the owner, Charlie Townsend, which we have bought 3 vehicles from his Ford Dealership in the past, and sold a car from Nissan Deal.
I asked them to help with the cost of the new tire. I was rudely told it was a road hazard and they would not even pay half of the tire. I have sent family and friends to Nissan, 2 bought cars, 1 new. But now, I hate even going there to fix anything that is under warranty. Last time they wrote it up wrong name, address and phone. If they do things this way, how many other things have they done wrong? I canceled my oil change policy with them, just because I do not want to go to the dealership.
The man that sold me and my husband the car was great and has done everything he can to help us in every way. We have purchased about 6 new vehicles and sent people to the dealers, but will never send anyone to a Townsend Dealership again. Also, a friend that I sent to buy a car could not get the correct paper work to buy a tag for her car, it was really embarrassing for me and they have told people about her bad experience. The way they treat people, they are losing customers.
I had to purchase a new tire, because they would not bring me air to put in mine that was going flat even though I wasn't only about 2 miles away. They just said that it was a road hazard and wanted to charge me about $35.00 to patch the tire, when a tire dealership that we deal with would fix it for free, out of good business to their customers. But because they would not bring me any air, I was woman by myself in a not so good area. I drove it to the dealership and ruined the tire and was rudely treated. I asked them to at least pay half and was told no very rudely.
