on 12/16/2008 i took my car in for service because it rain the night before and it flooded the passenger side of my car.It was still under warranty so i took the car in to have it checked like i did twice before. my brother said it's probably just a clogged a-pillard and he cleaned it out but told me to have it checked anyways because he is not a trained tech.just in case it's something else.I dropped the car off.
I asked that no work be done on the car if the warranty wouldn't cover it because i was not willing to pay anything and the said fine. i did not authorize any repairs but the service managers said that since he had the car on the lift that out of the kindness of his hart he took it apart and cleaned it all out. and would not charge me for that but i had to pay the 110.00 for the inital service charge .
i have taken my car there twice before while under warranty and was never charged. The service manager David said that if i didnt pay the 110.00 that he would bill me the whole thing and attach it to my balance that i still owed on the car so i just paid it to leave and file a complaint here. Can he do that ?
