Took my 2002 Chevy Camaro SS in for service on Friday 9-26-08. Came to pick up the vehicle Monday 9-29-08 to find that it had been stolen over the weekend on Saturday 9-27-08 with the keys meaning it had to have been an inside job. The car was recovered Tuesday 9-30-08 and had been driven 100 miles. The house keys off of my keychain had been taken off and most likely a copy of my keys have been made. And because they were in the vehicle they also know where i live therefore i had to have the locks changed on my house immediately. Dealer is refusing to cooperate. Making false statements to Chevy Customer Service who i placed a claim with Tuesday 9-30-08 about the incident. Dealership refusing to give any time of warranty or guarantee on the vehicle and is pretending as though they are doing all they can. They are completely in the wrong and the reason the vehicle was stolen was their fault.
100 miles put on the car. who knows how the car was driven or the stress that was put on the engine. scrapes all over the front bumper and the under flap had been torn. I had to have the locks on the vehicle redone.
