I purchased my vehicle at Frank Hyundai National City, a 2008 Hyundai Elantra. I've had absolutely no problem with the vehicle. I received my DMV registration renewal paperwork in the mail with a registration fee of over $1000.00! I called the CA DMV and they informed me that when my title was sent to the DMV it had been submitted with my car's value at $140,366! Obviously, a typo.
I called HMFCUSA and they told me that it was not their responsibility to furnish me with a loaner vehicle I can drive until the mess with the DMV clears up and if I wanted a title I had to request one and it may take 2-4 weeks. I told them that this was ridiculous, I didn't send the title to the DMV so it was their responsibility to correct it. They said that Hyundai Motor Finance Company didn't send the title either, it was the Finance Manager at Frank Hyundai National City. To this day I have a brand new car that I can't drive because of a mistake I didn't make and nobody has reached me to furnish me with a loaner car until they fix the problem they created.
I've had to rely on rides to and from work and so does my husband. We've spent more money giving people gas than we would spend using the vehicle we purchased to get to and from work!
