Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I read other complaints about this dealer selling used cars that have been in accidents and the Carfax report is clean. They are by-passing this system and claimining the car is free from accidents. They are using their Infiniti dealership lurk unknowning buyers with their unethical practices. I have bought a 2005 fx on the basis that the carfax report is clean. Since then, I have bought my car to un-basis parties to look at the car. My car clearly had been in an accident. There is front end damage, clean coat over spray, imperfections in the bumper resulting from a repainting bumper. I have question the dealer but they have denied it.

unknown real history of car, unknown damages.

BEWARE: Dishonest, deceptive dealer sold me car with COVERED UP DAMAGE. Dealer has refused to provide any compensation or repairs on the vehicle.

6 months ago, I purchased a pre-owned 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe. It was sold as a clean car with no accidents. However, When I took this car to another dealership for an oil change, the service history report states this car had suffered damage in the front & rear bumpers in the past with the BOTH bumpers being replaced. In addition, the rear cross brace was severely damaged and fixed. It seems that this car has been in an accident of some magnitude Furthermore, the bumpers were not properly or completely repaired. The side reflective lights were loose. Worse yet, the accident was intentionally covered up with new bumpers, and lies. I remember specifically asking about past accidents and damages before purchasing and the sales people told me it was completely clean. If that wasn't bad enough, the dealer did not report damages to Carfax.

I'm not just angry about this coverup but also the fact that my value of this car is now so much lower due to past accidents!

When I contacted the general managers of Infiniti of Marin, they completely blew me off and hung up on me. Is this a dealer you want to buy a car from??? Buyer BEWARE!

A couple of weeks ago, I purchased this pre-owned 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe from them. The car was sold as a used car under the factory warranty. However, this car had suffered damage in the front & rear bumpers before I purchased the vehicle with the BOTH bumpers being replaced a few months ago. In addition, the rear cross brace was severely damaged in an accident a while ago and had to be replaced. Furthermore, these items were not properly repaired. Worse yet, the accident was intentionally covered up with new bumpers and paint jobs. When asked specifically regarding past accidents or damages during the purchase, the sales people told me it was completely clean.

If that wasn't bad enough with unreported auto accidents, the car showed up clean on Carfax. I discovered all these damages when I brought the car to another dealership for warranty service for several problems, one being that the front light became loose. The front end accident had caused the vehicle's light to not fit properly anymore.

I was told that the repair couldn't be covered under the factory warranty because it was caused by an accident. I'm not just angry about this problem but also the fact that this car is now worth so much less. I paid $27,000 for this car. Given the problems arising from undisclosed damages, I can't afford to pay to have them fixed. I feel cheated and deceived. When I contacted the sales manager of Infiniti of Marin, they completely blew me off and hung up on me.
