Express Oil and Lube

Consumer Complaints & Reviews

10-13-09 Car serviced. Tech hit the dashboard to make the odometer come on. Odometer is digital... must turn the key to make it come on.

Dashboard cracked. Also knob to the driver seat disable cracked and on the ground behind the business. XpressLube says because the truck is old w/156,000 miles they can only offer an oil change as resolution. Cracked dashboard and disabled knob that adjusts the driver's seat.

I took my car in for service wiht no leaks and no usage of oil, and left with my oil pan gasket leaking and an at least an extra 2 quarts of oil in my motor. they are claiming these conditions were pre-existing but I know my car and they absolutely were NOT. My motor was in perfect working order prior to this service

I arrived at the service garage to have my radiator flushed. The mechanic said I needed to have the brakes and the power steering systems flushed. He showed me the fluids were very dark and needed to be replaced. I asked the mechanic how much the service would cost me and he showed me on a handout that the radiater flush would cost 79.99, the brake system would cost 89.99 and the power steering service would be included without charge. He said I would save $60.00. I told him to service the three systems.

After the service was completed I paid and left the facility. When I got home I checked the receipt and discovered they had overcharged me and I returned to have them credit or refund the difference to my account.

The flyer shows $79.99 as the regular price for the radiator flush. The manager told me that the extra $10.00 was for a special coolant and that the board in the waiting room shows &79.99 and up. The flyer does not say and up and the mechanic did not tell me that I had to pay an extra $10.00 for the coolant. The manager refused to pay me the $10.00. I left and informrd him I would not be returning to his shop. He said,O.K.
