Tom Jumper Chevrolet

Atlanta

Consumer Complaints & Reviews

In December of 2005, I put $2000 down for the purchase of a special edition car, the Corvette ZO6. Basically, this was a "good faith" payment for the right to be on a waiting list since the vehicle was so popular at the time. While talking to the sales person, Reggie Stagmaier of Tom Jumper Chevrolet in Atlanta, GA, it was brought out in conversation that General Motors was possibly coming out with a limited edition Corvette nicknamed the "Blue Devil" which eventually turned out to be the ZR1.

Almost 15 months later during March of 2007, I made the conscious decision to forego the ZO6 in favor of buying the ZR1. All of this was with the understanding that my original $2000 for the ZO6 was automatically transferred to the new waiting list for the ZR1 and was fully refundable anytime if I changed my mind.

The other day, I tried contacting Mr. Stagmaier and Tom Jumper Chevrolet only to find out that the dealership had declared bankruptcy in November, 2008. Is there any recourse that can be taken in this circumstance? In other words, am I still recognized by General Motors as having a place on this waiting list or should I be seeking a refund?

I purchased a 2008 chevy cobalt they never applied for the title and I can't apply for my tag.when I went to the tag office they told me the vechile was not registerd in the computer, so they gave me a temporary tag. they also said that is the only one they can issue me. I called the finance co. they couldn't tell me anything.

I need to know who I'm suppose to contact to fix this matter

thank you

About a year and half back I purchased a car from Tom Jumper Chevrolet, it was a 96 Mercury Sable. The end of last year (05) I had to do a MAJOR break overall, which can be expected with a car this old. That was fine. BUT last month the car in question breaks completely went out and break fuild spilt onto the road. I took it to a local repair shop and they told me my car was very badly rusted. Obviously this car was given to me in the condition. I went back to the dealership they made it right (at the time) but gave me a vehicle that had way too many miles, I requested one that was in better condition.

They worked with me on this matter and gave me another car. I unfortunely was mislead and found out that this car would be finaced for 24,000. This car isn't worth this much and I want to purchase a new car from them. I have tried for DAYS to get in touch with these people and NO ONE is returning my calls. I did go down to this dealership but the Manager wasn't there last weekend. I have called serveral times but feel they are avoiding me. I don't know what to do and I wouldn't be in this situition if not for them selling me a rusted out car in the first place.
