This will be a long story sorry I have kept detailed notes and records because of the problems I have experienced..I originally brought my car to Garden KIA because the transmission blew out. Please note I have a manual transmission as it is relevent to grasp the entire situation that I have been put through. Upon arriving to the dealership, mentioned above, they advised me that an electrical tachometer I
had put on the car caused the transmission to blow out.
They immediatly told me they would not even look at the car and told the tow truck company not to even put the car down. They had already taken the position that I had an automatic transmission and that the power drain, which is inconsiquential, caused the malfunction.
At this point I dealt with the manager Marc who told me that if this was caused by the tachometer then I would be responsible for all charges. Due to the fact that I have a mechanic at Goodyear that advises me of what can and cannot cause problems with my car I agreed to this. The manager and all service representatives walked away and left the driver and myself there.
One salesman, whose name I do not know, stated to the tow truck driver, "You must be glad that they started to make these cars" At which point the tow truck driver asked me what were we going to do. I advised him to set the car down at the service department and with his help we pushed the car into a vacant parking spot. Note: not one service person assited the tow truck driver or myself with this.
I then proceded into the service department and spoke with Dan. I advised him the car was in a spot and he could write it up for servicing. As we went to the car I asked him "How can an electrical tachometer, damage a non-electrical manual transmission and put a hole in the side of it". He was stumped for a few moments and then said "Oh it's a manual then you'll probably be covered".

We're waiting to hear the outcome.
