We purchased a new Dodge Durango in March 2001 from Lake Norman Dodge. The price on the sticker was not the price on our loan contract or the car window. The contract had a higher price tag listed. When I questioned the higher price than what was listed on the car window, the sales manager, Mr. Ellis, told me it was because there was an addendum.

One of the salespeople laughed when he said that.
I asked for a copy of the addendum so I could see what it supposedly included. They couldn't locate it at that time, but they would send it to me. My sales person, Woody Wooten, called back the following week to check and see if we were satisfied with everything and I asked again for the addendum. He said he would find it and get it mailed right out to me.
Well a week or so went by and I did not receive anything. Jennifer called from the dealership wanting information to get our car tags and I told her I had requested the addendum and had not received it. Again, I was told that she would get a copy of it and send it to me. As of today I still have not received it or any type of explanation. During this time period I also received calls from people talking to me to see if I was satisfied and telling me that I would be receiving a survey asking about the service I received from lake Norman. I told that person what I wanted. As of today's date I still have not received the addendum.
I feel I was taken advantage of and charged a higher price than was advertisized on the car. I paid over $2,000 more than was listed. I feel this is not legal.

The $2,000 is the salesman's beer bonus. Unfortunately, it probably is legal. Sara signed the contract and accepted the price. The dealer can sell the car for whatever the customer is willing to pay. Sara should have questioned the $2,000 beer bonus. before she signed the contract, not after.
