Consumer Complaints & Reviews

My purchase from MDWholesale was done on the internet using my VISA card via PayPal. I ordered headlight cleaner from the web page: www.mdwholesale.com.

It was touted to be the best product on the market... so good it was 100% guaranteed to work or your money will be refunded. The product did not work for me and when I contacted them for a refund I was told that, because of their disclaimer hidden on their web page behind a link entitled: terms and conditions that This site and the materials and products on this site are provided entirely as is and for informational purposes only without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permissible pursuant to applicable law, MDWholesale.com disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

The ad on www.mdwholesale.com clearly states You will be completely satisfied With New Lite or your moneyback, its that simple! Their disclaimer found under a greyed out link clearly says they do not guarantee anything. I suggest you look at www.mdwholesale.com, read each paragraph then read their terms and conditions found near the bottom.

Out $27 and change for 3 one oz. bottles of water, windex, and rubbing compound.

On July 24, 2008 I purchased a product called "New Lite" from their web page: mdwholesale.com. I was impressed with their ad and their "money-back guarantee." Their on-line ad states: "You will be completely satisfied by our headlight cleaner and restoration kit or your money back, its that simple!" It was advertised at $15.99 but they added $9.99 and tax which brought the total to $27.93. I paid for it using my VISA card through PayPal. The product did not work. I made several attempts to contact mdwholesale without success.

Finally I wrote to the Better Business Bureau in Charlotte. The BBB was unable to resolve the problem stating that their response from mdwholesale (David M.) stated: "Customer bought said product through website and agreed to be Legally bound to the terms and conditions of use of the website. The terms and conditions cleary state that all items are sold as is where is. By using the website and purchasing a product through it the customer agreed to be legally bound by all the terms and conditions of said website. The only guarantee is that if a customer does not receive the item we will ship another out at our expense and this is clearly stated several times in the Terms and Conditions."

Their "terms and conditions" link is a small grey button somewhere on their ad. The only thing that I did was click the "Buy Now" button, fill in the charge card information and address.

If you care to you might look at their weg page: mdwholesale.com scroll down, reading each paragraph. Then at the bottom of the page you will see the "Buy Now" button also the greyed out "Terms and Conditions" button.

I would certainly think this is false advertising and they should be required to remove "guaranteed" from their advertising. I don't care about getting any of money back... it's the principle of the thing.
