My son and I stopped to buy a car. We told the salesman that our credit wasn't the best. They said that my son would be able to get any used car in the lot with at least $1,000.00 to $1,500.00 down payment. My son was so excited that he would be able to get a car plus better his credit. The salesman said that we have to wait around an hour because the man we were to see was busy. So we waited and then, Bill, the man we were to see, stopped real quick to talk to us about making an appointment.
In the meantime, my son found a Dodge Avenger in the row he suggested we look. Well, he told him, "Well, you need at least $5,000.00 down." They just outright lied to us. They didn't even bother to check with the lender before telling us that. I mean, come on, he could have tried to work with us. It seem like they didn't even want to help us. I advised them that we would go somewhere else, and they didn't even care. You would think that you would try and care about your customers and sell cars. I won't recommend any to Kia.
