I called them to take a look at my car, it wouldn't start. They said they would be able to fix it. They towed the car to their shop on approx. 10/8/09. All the while, I am caling to inquire as to when the car will be done. I called them every other day. Billy, the so called manager, said they were working on it but they didn't seem to really know what was wrong. Then on 11/20/09 I received a call from Brenda who tells me the car is running and all is well, come pick it up, it was repaired! I was thrilled, the car had been there nearly 5 weeks!
I arrive with my daughter to find the car's hood open and another repair guy working on it. He told me it was NOT ready to go and they didn't know when it would be done. He went on and on about how this and that was wrong, etc etc. My daughter told him we just wanted to take the car elsewhere as they didn't seem to know what was wrong. The mechanic Billy said we HAD to pay him for what services he did. The car was worse than when I brought it in! It didn't start up, there were wires torn out, the dashboard was taken apart, the ignition was jimmy rigged with another part that didn't even look like it belonged. He said if we didn't pay, we couldn't have the car back...so we paid to take it off his lot. The car is a disaster. This place is a scam shop. They need their license revoked! I want my money back!!!! I feel I was taken advantage of, I am 66 years old and have never had to wait over 6 weeks for a car to be fixed only to find out its not. HELP! I paid over $800 for a car that doesn't run, I feel this shop is operating unethically.
