On September 10, 2009 I brought my car into the service department, the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) went on. They charged me $412.71 for parts plus labor charges. They also performed complete coolant flush and replaced a resivor, which they said was stained and dirty. Total billing was $724.28. A few weeks later I received a notice from Volkswagen of America stating that there was a re-call due to a malfunction in the indicator light and MIL would be displayed. I submitted the billing for the work I had done on September 10th. since I should not have been charged for the re-call.

Then on October 30, 2009 the MIL light went on again. I brought it back to Desert V/W along with the re-call letter on October 31st. The work was performed they said at no charge but they wrote up a service advice that stated I needed asap a Coolant Flush and Revisor replaced since it was dirty.

This was the same work that was done on 09/10/2009 which I paid for. Apparently they did not do the work or they are just scamming people thinking that they would not remember having the work done. The ecomomic damage was $724.28

My car was towed for repair in November 2005, after my car suddenly stopped on the freeway. I was told that my timing belt broke and as a result it damaged my engine. They eventually repaired my car. Since then Ive called and requested a detailed statement of the cost and reason for the repair. They have been unable to provide me with a statement or receipt; the store manager has told me that they have no record on file. I feel that they are giving me the run around, at times have been rude, and are avoiding my phone calls. I feel that they are not taking my request seriously. I made this request 3 months ago and have called multiple times. There is no reason why they shouldnt have my receipts or statement available.

I need my receipts and/ or statement so that I can get reimbursed for all cost. It turned out that my car had a faulty timing belt. Volkswagen of America is willing to reimburse me if I can prove that the damages caused to my car were as a result of the timing belt failure. Please help me obtain these documents.

My Volkswagen Passat had a crack in the engine block August 14, 2006. Every since the return of the car I have had this ongoing engine vibration which is increasingly getting louder. I have taken the car back to the dealership to ask about this problem and have been told that is an ongoing an theres not much can be done. The dearship is aware of the problem but does not have a solution.

I have purchased a vechicle that I no longer in enjoy owning and do not understand why Volkswagen has not made good on this problem as I'm not the only person in this situation.
