2002 F250 Super Duty (80,500 miles) with "extended warranty" through HiRoadXtra Protection. Lost a spark plug due to thread failure in the cylinder head. Vehicle was 183 miles from dealer. Due to warranty I paid $300+ out of pocket to get truck back to the dealer, borrowed a vehicle to get wife home for work, returned back to original place of problem to return borrowed vehicle and took train back home for $50. Dealer says warranty company will not cover cost because it is "not a lubricated part." Dealer or Ford do not appear to be inclined to pay anything. Considering Small Claims court.
