On 11/05/09 I brought my Malibu 2004 in for service for 11/06/09. I told Carl R that my car does not start with remote. I stated that the batteries were good for I had both remotes tested at his shop 2 months ago.I stated I did not new remotes. I got my bill for 57.00 for diagnosis test. They charged me for 2 new remotes which was 114.03 a piece plus tax. 285.56. I got my car and both remotes did not start my car. I was told I did not state that the car would not start with remotes.So what did they think brought my car there for?
I bought this car with remote already installed. So now the car goes for a electrical diagnosis which was 115.00 and it shows I needed a new latch hood for the latch was broken. and that is why remotes would not work with car. It was a twenty minute job that would of cost 115.00 for electrical diagnosis test and for whatever the latch would of cost.I had told Mr. R that I should not have to pay for 2 remotes and he in return said there is no labor charge for the latch,just 115.00 for latch. I feel I was taken advantage of as a woman and want a refund.
