I purchased a used vehicle, 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue, on 10/20/2009. It had a one time owner according to the dealer. I did not get a carfax report, but probably should have. The first day, I took it to Pittsburgh and came back home to find that the car was smoking. I called and told the dealer, so they asked me to bring the car to them and they would see and call the garage that they deal with. The coolant light was also on. They said I needed to take it to Lenzi's for them to check out.

There were a couple things that Lenzi's did to the vehicle, and I could get the papers from them. After that, I actually took it somewhere else and had another garage check the vehicle out. I took the summary of issues that the other garage had found to the dealer and they told me to take again to Lenzi's. At which, some things were changed and repaired. The radiator needed flushed a couple times, per family and friends that know about cars, probably more so than what it was.

I was missing work to take the car to Lenzi's and this really didn't concern the dealer that the radiator needed to be flushed much more, nor did she seem like it should have been done again and really didn't want to pay. She asked me to bring the vehicle to them again for a worker to check it out, so I did and they were going to call Lenzi's to try to fit me in because there was only a 30 day warranty. I already called Lenzi's and had an appt. for Saturday, 11/21/09.

The problem, that I am having now and have been having, is that the coolant light is steady on, and that there is an actual leak in the water pump. I had my brother-in-law, who has worked on cars most of his life, check it out. Also, the driver side back tire/ shocks and/ or axle has something wrong as the car bounces and this is very dangerous, so all along I feel there was much more wrong than the garage was saying and or the dealer was telling. I purchased a new water pump to be installed and I am having mechanics check out the shocks, but I really do not feel I am responsible for any of these things as this should all have been taken care of in Nov. 09, when the car was checked by Lenzi's. Please let me know what you think of my situation. Thank you.
