Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I took my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer for inspection and got billed with $1100. After a week, the check engine light turned on again and we took it back to Stockburger again. This time they came up with another reason and asked us to pay $550. I don't want to pay them again, and took the car out after paying $70 for checking it. They are trying to rip off every service customer for their lost dealership business. Good luck with that. They can do it for a year or two but not forever. Please stay away from Stockburger.

I leased a 2005 chevy equinox in April of 2004. When I leased the vehicle I purchased interior insurance and was told that if anything happened to the interior it would be covered. I have small children and my interior was dirty. I turned the car back in in June of 2008 and ASKED the dealer if anything needed to be done and they told me no the insurance would take care of the damage. GMAC IS BILLING ME OVER $2000. for the interior and tells me that the dealers always tell consumers this, they will not waive the interior charges and I feel I was lied to and had I known I would have had the interior taken care of for nothing before I turned it in.

I am being held accountable for the $2000 in interior excess wear charges. I do not have the money for this and do not think it is fair as a consumer that they not only took advantage of me for the cost of the insurance for 48 months at $4, but now are charging me the $2000.
