I went talk with Armando to tell him that I had tried to pre-approve my wife to purchase a vehicle and she was turned down. (I was layed off in January of this year due to a down sizing of the company that I worked for. My credit was in pretty good shape prior to this layoff. Because I had been without a job over eight months - I was sruggling to pay my creditors- my credit had turned terrible. A vehicle I had purchased in 2008 to do the job I had been laid off this vehicle was repossed in july of 2009 because I had very little money coming in from unemployment. I was told by Armando I will never be able to straighten my credit out because of how bad it has become.

The vehicle I was paying on - 07 exployer - I asked if they would take this as a trade in so I would have to pay for it and new one. Armando told me that since I had negative equity that I should just let it go back to ford motor credit because it would not make any differance on my poor credit since I already had a repo. He told the same thing to my wife. This made us feel as if we were backed in a corner and could not get out of it without taking his deal. This confused us and made me feel like I lost it on purpose which was not the case - I just did not have enough money to pay for both vehicles)

We tried to back out of the pickup that Armando was trying to sell to us and he told my wife and me that her credit was so poor only one bank would finance her and she may not be able to get anyone to loan her money so if we have someone to finance it why would she turn that down. After everything was signed we found out that the vehicle only had one key and it would cost us $350 for a second one. The tailgate had a scratch on the paint with the tailgate latch had been broken - Armando told me that since it was damage the warranty did not cover that. I told him the very next morning about the damage - he said Ishould have caught this before signing the papers. I did not see it be this was one of the first trucks he showed me and I told him that it was not exactley what we had in mind so I did not walk all the way around the truck.

We looked at three other used vehicles and they would only one of them because of my wifes credit scores. My wife did not like the one thay would finance. I said something about the first truck I had looked at but by that time it was dark outside. We still tried to get out of the deal but we are not as knowlegable as the saleman as to what our rights are. We are not stuck a vehicle that end up costing us more that we can afford. I have not found a job yet (All American asked me take a test and they may hire me) and I will be running out of unemployment soon so I can not help my wife with payments and that could be repo'd when that happens. When we tried to back out Armando said his general manager would buy my explorer. I left it with the dealership so thay could make arrangments to purchase it from ford motor credit. There was not contract signed on this so I am afraid they will let it go back and that will go against me as well. I talked with there manage today and he said thay will look at trading out of the vehicle my wife just bought.
