I bought a car from Auto Plaza on 1/3/2011. I immediately started having problem with the car and immediately they started telling me buy as is. The car has engine trouble and should have been known by them but they sold the car anyway. I have tried to get my money back but to no avail. They also want me to pay for the so-called car repairs. Two days after I got the car back the check engine sign came back on. They still would not do anything to resolve the matter. I strongly believe now that they knew. Please help.

I went to the car lot to look at a car(2002/chevrolet/impala ls/black) advertised on a magazine for sale. I went to look at it and drove it for about 4 blocks. Everything seemed ok. I came back the next day and bought the car cash(3800.00). I was not hable to take it home cause their computers were down so as a result the car was delivered to me at work on that same day. after work i drove it for about 20-30 minutes and the vehicle stared over heating.
I took it back and they said their mechanics would have a look at it. I was told that the people at the shop were running tests on it and it would have to stay for another day. The next 2 days the vehicle stayed with their mechanics. On the 2nd day i got a call that it would cost me $240.00 to fix the car. i didnt feel I had to pay anything, but I ended up paying $140.00. After taking the car home and taking a closer inspection the windshield wipers did not work properly. I have just invested $566.00 on fixing this problem. I will need to invest another $300.00 for a motor.
