Today, 11-12-2009, I was dis-resppected and threat by a person,(he may be the manager), I am sure he is not a salesperson. Everything started about a week ago that a friend of mine, D, asked to cosign to buy a car because his credit is not good. I agree and he began to shop for a car. He filled an application for a credit in that place but he was not approved. They asked for cosigner. In the same day they call me, (D gave them my number)They pre aprove me after a few minutes.
The sales person insisted that he should test drive the car for a couple of days. He did no want it to doit. Finally he took a Grand Cherokee, I told him and somebody else that called me that I was going to cosign for a new car with all the warranties such as GAP. The sales person insisted that Doval whould take a New truc with him. He show it to me and I liked. We went over to that business today to sign but when I was ready to do it I notice that they want me to be the buyer not the cosigner. I refused to do it. The got really mad but I told them lets try to put it in his name with 4,000 Down. They did it but the APR was going to be over 12%.
I told them thank you but no because is to high. We were to leave when a guy came to us screaming at us with threats against us saying that we have to sign because my friend already use the car. I told them to stop threating us that we were leaving. They refused to give back the $500 that my friend gave them. They said that they were going to get that for the 5 days that he kept the car and for the mileages even when the car was not used. He only put 15 miles on both of the cars.
