Bought a 2007 Cadillac CTS new off the lot from Gabriel Jordan Cadillac in Henderson, TX. They had the best deal. We live in Tyler, TX. Car had horrible wind noise. At GM's insistence, went through BBB arbitration. Lost. Then went through Lemon Law. Lost. Dealt with losing. Have had this car serviced at our locak Cadillac dealership here in Tyler. Lovely people. Great relationship. Wish I'd bought it from them to begin with. For 2 years, we have had the car serviced at this dealership. No problems whatsoever.

Scott J., who was the owner of the dealership in Henderson where we bought the car, is now the owner of the Wagner Cadillac here in Tyler. I know this only because I called to schedule my routine oil change. David in the service department told me this. "Yes, Mrs. Cindy. We have a problem. Scott J., effective yesterday, is the owner of our dealership. He called a meeting yesterday and mentioned your name specifically. Told me we were to do NO work on your vehicle whatsoever because of past experience."

Flabergasted, I called GM customer assistance. What a joke! Today? They call me back and say this: "That dealership never should have serviced your car anyway. It is independently owned and they don't have to service your car if they don't want to." Is this for real? I have a Smart Buy Lease, which has mileage restrictions. I do not want to have to drive my car 35+ miles for service one way - when the local dealership is 1 block from my office. I just want out of this Smart Buy Lease. Can anybody help me? Please.
