On August 20, 20009 I went to this dealership to look at a 2008 Nissan Altima. The car was nice but I had some concerns. The car had 50,000 miles on it and no remaining manufacturer warranty. I wasn't sure if I could get an extended warranty on it because it was formerly a rental car, plus non of the tires matched on the car. I am a first time buyer so I asked the saleman (Jimmy) if my uncle could check the car out, he replied yes. The saleman (Jimmy) ask me if my uncle was a mechanic. I replied yes, I told him he works 3 blocks from your location he is a mechanic at the Nissan dealership.

Jimmy asked if he could get a copy of my driving license. I had lost my license but I had the temporary license that DMV had given me until mines come in the mail. Jimmy said he had never seen a temporary license and asked for my SSN# to check and see if I had a license before I could drive it. I gave it to him. Jimmy comes back and tells me that if I want to buy the car he would sell it to me for $15,000.00 and I would need to put down $4,000.00 because I didn't have any credit.

I never filled out or sign an application or gave verbal permission for him to pull my credit report. I asked Jimmy repeatedly did you pull my credit report and He told me several times NO. My mother was with me the entire time, she heard him say No. However when I got home I pull my credit report on line and saw that Jimmy had indeed pull my credit report without my permission. I wasn't even sure about buying the car so why would I want him to check my credit. That is why I wanted my uncle to check out the car before I filled an application.

I was lied to. That credit inquiry will remain on my credit report 3 year. I called Jimmy and told him I had check my credit report on line and you did pull my credit report without my permission. He said NO he didn't check my credit and didn't give an apology.
