About 8 months ago I bought a 46-foot Ferretti from Allied Marine. Before I took delivery of the boat there were a lot of things that I was promised and that I have still not gotten. There was a vibration on the boat and they kept telling me that was a fishing line and they told me that they have removed it but when I took delivery of the boat it still had the vibration. I had the captain that worked for them tell them the same thing and they did not believe him either; it finally took someone from the facory to come down from Italy to tell Allied Marine that the boat had to go to the yard.
At that time they took everything of the props, shaft, seals, pretty much everything and they still they did not get it correct and I still have the problems. They don't treat their customers well, especially those who buy used boats. To give you an example, they don't put any fuel on the used boats so when you buy the boat you need to put in your own fuel. They don't give you a bottle of champagne because it's a used boat and in my case they did not give me a key to open the fuel tank and they told me to use a screw driver. Sure, that will work the same but on a million-dollar boat you are not supposed to use a screw driver.
If I was to explain everything that they have done to me I could write a book about it. The last thing they said to me was, sell that boat and buy a new one and we will give you better service.
Everytime they come to my boat they fix one thing and damage two or three other things.
