Owner promised at the signing of the contracts that the marina would be dredged by 4/15/09, also that there would be shower facilities by the same date. Owner was aware that permits to dredge had not been granted and were not granted until the end of May. After this the owner stated that he could not dredge until he had a boat built to do the dredging.
The dredging was not done until 7/30/09 only after the owner was threatened with court. All attempts at compensating boat owners for lost time have been met with derision. The dredging was finally done by a outside contractor and that boat that the owner is building is still not complete.
Only able to leave our slips 1 hour before high tide and had to return within 1 hour after high tide to get back into the slip before the water was too shallow. If you did not make back to shore within the 2 hours you had to anchor out for 11 hours to wait for the next high tide.
