Consumer Complaints & Reviews

In September 2008, I purchased an A/C part described as "Tank" from UAS INC. The part was quoted at $11,900 with 2 weeks lead time. I was asked to send 50% in advance and the balance will be paid upon delivery. I sent the check to the PO Box I was given and I have never heard from those people again. I have constantly called and sent emails and all attempts went in vain.

My boss hired a collection agent. She did get us some information such as: the owner operates from Donald Trump Tower and she was able to talk to them a few times. They promised her that they will send the check but never did.

I am an employee who makes $11 per hour and my management made me pay the $5,000 from my payroll. They are deducting 20% of my pay check because it was my fault that I sent the check without my supervisor's approval.

Those ruthless people operate from a multi-million dollar apartment while me and my family have to suffer the consequences of their deaf conscience. I still have all the email correspondences, check copies, and other documents if needed.

On January 12, 2009 I purchased part # 65757-101, Wire Control Assembly, from UAS Inc. They promised a two week delivery and required payment in advance of $1,675.36, which was paid on 1/15/09 on check # 7205. In my business this is not an unusual request so I had no reservations of making the advance payment.

After three weeks I did not receive the material so I called them back and was told that there was a delay and delivery would be another two weeks. After another three weeks I called again and was told that there where yet additional delays and I would be receiving the material within two weeks. I continued to make calls and send emails and faxes to which I would not receive any response for long periods of time.

This cycle continued for 9 months. Finally on September 22, 2009 I requested that the order be canceled and that they refund my payment of $1,675.36 in full. On September 23, 2009 I received their acceptance of the cancellation with a notice that my refund will be made in full.

To date I still have not received the payment and no one at UAS Inc will respond to my emails, phone calls, faxes or mail. I would like to request your assistance to remedy this problem and get my $1,675.36 refunded back to me. If required I have copies of all email correspondences and faxes for the last 9 months to show the history of this order and will gladly provide them to you. Please let me know if you have any questions or need any additional information.

Due to the non-performance of UAS Inc I was not able to fulfill my customer's requirement and had to request that they cancel my purchase with them and I was penalized for not fulfilling my contractual obligation to my customer.
