On December 1, 1999 I met with Robert H., who was said to
be the vice president of USA Clean Inc. After explaining the
differents programs of investment Mr. Hyman stated that after
paying $5,000.00 I would have the opportunity to provide cleaning
services to 2 MD's offices in Manhattan, and that I was to start
working the following 2 days. I paid mr. H. a personal check
for the sum of $5,000.00.
The whole month of December went by, and Mr. H started to avoid making contact with me over the telephone, since I was asking for the promised cleaning accounts. In the month of January 2000 I finally contacted mr. H. and demanded the promised work. He instead sent me a brochure on how to be an entrepreneur and a Hoover vacumm cleaner, but asked me to continue to wait for the work we paid for.
The agreement was that for the payment i made, I was expected to earn $2,500.00 a month by cleaning 2 doctors' offices for 5 days in a month with a guarantee that these contracts were to last for 2 years.
After several calls Mr. H. asked me to visit a place in Queens and to clean it as a courtesy for future business, so I did. I was expected to make $47 a week for such work. I was not paid but it did not matter since it was explained that my monthly earnings were to be $2,500.00 a month and not the mentioned above, besides I was told it was a courtesy visit.
Mr. H. refused to provide me with the promised cleaning accounts, therefore we asked for a refund of our funds. He also refused so we went to civil court and served him with legal notices. At this time we are awating legal action.
Mr. Robert H. advertises in the local newspaper offering dreams of self-employment and financial independence to citizens who in most cases do not have the funds his company asks and take out loans, to achieve dreams that become nightmares.
