Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I bought a JVC gv-fm1ae 1080p camcorder, it was supposed to be the best camcorder on the market for its size. But when you zoom in, it all pixelates and you can't see the picture. In my opinion, it is the worst on the market.

I tried to order two hi def camcorders, model JVC GY-HD200 the gold package no where on there web page do it say lenses not included, in fact it shows lens 5.5 to 88mm (16x Optical Zoom) F/1.6 among accessories included. So he tells me that it don't. besides why do you want to by that older model theres much better and newer model the lenses included. I forgot to mention that he tried to sell me the lenses for on thousand on hundred a each. So I listen to tell me about other cameras. Well I cancelled my order.

I tried another sells man after reading more on the orignal order. After the pointing out what the ad indicate. He connected me back to the original rep. Again I listen to him go on about better camera's. I explained that I would get one really good camera locally, Canon hd 1. He tells me he could get me two of thoughs camera's for about eight thousand dollars, being familiar with that camera I said okey. He went on to tell me theres is a sony with better quality with more accessories. He's got my attention. I said okey American Express called to make sure that I made that amount of purchase.

I wait the next day and talk to a friend who has more expericance with camera equipment, explained to her she had question so I called to cancelled. He tells me it was already in the mail, I told him I was going to send it back. But somehow he had sold he on the camera's. I called American express to okey the purchase. I received it today it's big big let down from my expectations. I have pictures of the little hand held camera they shipped me

In the box was the invoice, with small prints on return policy. 7 day s with 15% restocking fee. Restocking fees and shipping and handling must be paid with cashier checks or can be deducted from credit card on file. Alright after going through all the fine print my question is as long as I send them they're package I won't have to eat $8,462.96?

after using it one day i went home, charged it then went back out and used it. then i turned it on and everything was white...but when i went inside you can see everything perfectly...and when im outside its all white and seems like its way too bright outside although i was using it oused like previously. i cant finish my video and now im never buying jvc again

I bought a JVC GRD70AA camera in Australia in Sept of 2003 and had problems with it from day one. The tape carriage was slow, but I didn't know it wasn't supposed to be slow as it was my first camera. In Feb of 2006, a Lens Cap error message kept happening even though the lens cap wasn't on. This was apparently a 'known problem' and was repaired free of charge. The slow carriage was noticed by the JVC repairman, but wasn't going to be fixed without a charge of $200. In Dec of 2006 there were issues with the battery charge. I charged the camera fully the night before going to the hospital to have my second child. Just before my son was born the next day, the battery ran out - after only 1 hour of use. Three months later in March, the lens cap error message returned so I took it in again to be serviced. JVC refused to repair it free of charge and accused me of dropping and therefore damaging the camera. The damage caused the lens cap error to return as well as the battery to malfunction. I did not drop the camera.
