Verizon suddenly began charging us for "Ideal VM" which we had never heard of, nor ever authorized. when Verizon explained what the charge was, calleded Ideal number on the bill, cancelled and was told a refund would be made, this was in August, and as of Dec. 8, still no refund, although they did stop billing.
My AT&T bill was higher by $15 in Sept. 2009 and this month. I called them and was told that Ideal Voicemail was charging me for services, and explained the "third party billing" which I did not know about. They credited by bill. I called Ideal Voicemail, and complained. They said they will cancel the service, which I never heard of. I called AT&T back to complain about the fraud, but was told they could do nothing about it and many people were recieving similar charges and just pay them each month.
