Every month or so my phone bill will have a charge on it that I did not make. This month there is a $1.50 charge for a DIR Assist call that I did not use. This is not the first time it has shown up on my bill. I called SBC and waited on hold for 43 minutes before a human answered.
He put me on hold until I was cut off. I called back and waited 35 minutes this time only to be told that there would be no adjustment to my bill and that if I didnt pay it my phone would be shut off. I will pay this phone bill but under protest while I look for another phone service. I think there should be some type of action taken against SBC Telephone Co.
