Wireless R Us

I have been recommended about rebate offer if I purchase phone by WirelessRUs. It has been since January. I have called numerous times and so far, I did not receive and now they submitted insurance on my account number and my data plan is turned off. Lookout for them before you purchase, I am logging a complaint with consumer affairs and filing for the damages and my time and calls with this stupid company. They better be looking at this link and I would request others to file complaint against them

I bought a contract from Wireless R Us NY, 200 Water Street, New York. The name of the sales person was Vipul. He told me that I will get $800 rebate back when I sign up for 2-year contract and a family plan with AT&T where I get 2 iPhone (16GB, 3GS) for free. He took $150 for data plan cancellation.

I don't know what he is doing on the back side, but whenever i go to the store, the store is so busy that people don't even respond. I think I will post this complaint on the AT&T website, so he will know the pain suffered by customers. I called him several times since then, requesting either to change it or cancel my order (retuning everything).

First of all, he will not pick up the phone. If you are lucky to get connected, then he will give you an excuse that "My guys are not working today to check the rebates. Call us on Friday." After Friday has passed, he will say call after 6 PM to talk to Vipul (the manager). Believe me, he will never talk on the phone if you are not calling for new connection.

This store is giving 200$ rebates on iphone 3gs but they are only giving it to indian customers. My co-workers and friends have received this deal but when i went in there they told me that they don't do this kind of deal. I had a friend who's indian go over there and he was given the deal. This is unfair business practice and discrimination.
