I asked Mr. Louis to retrieve a file (42kb) that was accidentally formatted. I lost the file. He told me that it would cost me 95 dollars, depending on the file. He retrieved "Daily Journal" and converted into Microsoft Word. He also converted all of my other files in my USB drive, into Microsoft Word program. I specifically told him in writing (faxed) that he was suppose to retrieve the "Daily Journal" file and that was all. Now, I do not have the Microsoft Word program to open the file Louis converted.
Louis charged me for 200 dollars, for all of the works he did. Now, he told me to find another company to reconvert my files back into Word Perfect program. He refused to refund me the money. He over charge me and he does not have the time to talk to me now. Mr. Louis did good work but was unprofessional and was taken advantage of citizen like me. Mr. Louis over charged me for the unnecessary work and would not refund me for my loss (100 dollars). I asked him to retrieve one file and he converted 10-15 of my other files. I do not have the program to open the files he converted into now.
