Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I had my debit card information stolen on the 21st of June and someone charged $508 for software from Corel. The lady at my bank called Corel with me there and asked for information on this transaction claiming it is a fraud. The person answering the phone refused to give out information because of privacy laws even though they charged it on my debit card! They were very RUDE to my bank and I had to file a police report and an internet crimes report to recover the money from Corel. This is take 10 days to get redeposited in my account. Although I'm not a customer of Corel, I should have been treated better after they stole $508 from my bank account and authorized a fraudulent debit card transaction.

Purchased Photo Shop 2, keep getting popup ads everytime i use the program. Called support and they will not talk to me unless i give them a credit card # and they charge $15. minimum. The public should not be charged to ask them how to stop their advertising every time i use their product that I bought. I still dont know even if i can stop their ads. This is like buying a new car and having to listen to an ad everytime you use it. THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL and if anyone can tell me what to do about Corel please advise.

After download a trial software from Corel I notice this file PSIService.exe PSIService.exe (Protexis Licensing Service) start running in my system. That was installed without my authorization or my knowledge.

For me and about what I searched this is illicity.
