Consumer Complaints & Reviews

After buying a set of guides from their website, I promptly realized after paying that this was not what I expected when I bought it. I quickly replied to the email saying refund like I was told and got an e-mail back saying: "We have received your refund request. We are sorry to see you leave and requesting a refund. You will be refunded automatically in the next pay cycle."

After a couple of weeks, I emailed them again asking when the next pay cycle was so I could be sure when it would be back in my account. I was told the 25th of each month. I then waited until the 26th of August 2010, almost a month after I had requested the original refund before I emailed them again, asking why I hadn't received it. I received a reply the next day saying: "Sales team must have missed processing your request in our pay cycle, which happens 25th of every month.

We will look into this and get it done and thanks for informing us and sorry for the inconvenience." Since receiving this, I have emailed them a number of times asking why I haven't received it. Each time my email has been ignored.

After two months, I realized that my bank statement had a different companies name on it which was ClickBank and after contacting them I found that if I had emailed them in the first place within 60 days my money would have been refunded within 24 hours. I have saved all emails and have passed them on to both my bank and Clickbank in order to find out a solution to my problem.

GameCopyWizard.com is a scam and once they have your money they have absolutely no intention of giving it back to you as far as I can tell.

I bought this software as the claim it can be used to backup game original CD in case of scratches, but never worked. I asked for the refund as their website said, but always said it will be on the next pay cycle, which is scam. Never paid and never replied, no known address in there website, so angry at them as they are scammers.

I went to gamecopywizard.com to purchase what I assumed was software to back up console games. After the purchase, I was redirected to a page with instructions on how to copy the discs. There was no software, but instructions to open up the game or computer and do work to the DVD drive. That is not what I wanted, so I immediately requested a refund the next day. I received an email that stated, "We have received your refund request. We are sorry to see you leave and requesting a refund.

You will be refunded automatically in the next pay cycle." I canceled on 11/21/09 and also received the email on that day. Sometime went by and I received no refund so I decided to contact them again asking when should I receive the refund. Here is what the email stated: "The sales team must have missed processing your request in our pay cycle, which happens 20th of every month. We will look into this and get it done and thanks for informing us and sorry for the inconvenience."

That email was on 12/27/09. A whole month had went by, and no refund. To this day, I have not received a refund. The website is very misleading. It makes you think you are going to purchase software, but you're not. On the website, there is a 'Download' button which leads you to believe you will download a software. Instead, when clicked, you are directed to an order form. I am out of $29.99.
