Dazzle Smile

Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I fell for the old "if it seems too good to be true, it is" online purchase. I ordered a dental whitening product from "Dazzling Smiles" for $3.87 on June 11, 2010. I was billed for an excess of $87! When I called the 1-800 number, I spoke with a "Clark" who then emailed me an online form to submit for cancellation. He was unbelievably argumentative, but never once mentioned why I was billed for $87 or anything about a 10-day trial period. He told me that I would receive email confirmation of cancellation within 3 hours (which I never did). I also had not received the product as yet, either.

I called back the next morning to ask why I'd not received confirmation of cancellation and spoke with "Cameron" who was also evasive, argumentative, and rude. She did inform me, however, that I should have called within the 10-day trial period to cancel (even though I'd never received a product to actually try), and that I agreed to the fact that I would have to pay the $87 for a subscription of some sort. My concern is that now I have to wait for my bank to actually post the bill, and call the claims department for them to get my money back from these crooks. I have certainly learned a lesson about shady, too-good-to-be-true online purchases. I WILL NEVER DO IT AGAIN!

I cancelled this and returned all of the whitening products, but they still charge me the $24.13 per month. They have cancelled the other fees after my letter a month ago. Now, they are saying that this is another offer that I signed up for at the same time.

Ordered a "free trial" for teeth whitening product and paid a 1.95 shipping fee. Account was immediately charged not only the 1.95, but also 48.92. Called the company and was told that I "clicked a button" at checkout that not only extended my 14 day trial to 18 days, but also ordered trays to go with the whitening product. Told them I didn't want trays, only my money. They told me that in order to receive a refund, I had to return the trays. Waited and waited...no trays ever came.

Called and spoke to a supervisor and was refunded the money 11 days later. Returned the teeth whitening product as soon as I received it, with a tracking number. At this point I was done with these people. A month later, received a charge of 86.93 on my credit card.

Called the company and was told this was a mistake and my card would be credited back in 5 to 10 days. On day 10, still no refund. Called the company again and was told that there was a problem with their computers and the money was never credited. Told to wait another 5 to 10 days and I will see a credit.

Called my bank...in the process of filling out paperwork for fraudulent charges and when and if the money is ever credited back, they advised me to cancel my credit card as this company now has my number and information. Still missing $86.93 in my account.

I ordered the Dazzlesmile from an infommercial I saw on the internet. I assumed it was $2.95 plus shipping and handling. A couple of days ofter ordering the product, I saw the infommercial again. I noticed in very small print, I am a disabled senior and my eyesight is not that well, it said that if was a automatic monthly delivery. I thought it was a one time only deal. I called the 866 nuber listed to cancel immediatley. The operator which I spoke with informed me to send it back with the order ID # on the front of the box and my money would be returned. I rec'd the package on 10/17/09 and promptly returned it unopened as instructed. I do not have a tracking number as I have been informed that they cannot help me.

I have called on several occasions with the same response. I have emails showing the cancellation of my order, but they will not refund my money. So I paid $87.62 for nothing. I believe this is an outrage. Could you imagine how many other seniors this has happed to? Can you help me on this issue, or guide me on what to do. $87.62 is alot of money for a senior on SS. Thank you for your time.

I was looking up movie theaters in Google when I saw an add for a free trial of teeth whitening products. There was a testimony from a Mom who said the secret was to use two different products together to get amazing results. A code was given for each so that the shipping fee would be reduced. I ordered one right away while I was at work and ordered the other product the next day using two different credit cards. When I place the second order, a box popped up asking if I wanted an extended 7 day trial with the original 14 day trial. I hit yes and then I saw terms and conditions pop up after I had entered my credit card. There were no terms on the site before I had entered my card. The terms stated that I would be enrolled in a monthly program and charged $48.92 per month.

I called to cancel and found the number didn't go through. The next day I found all the fraud claims and got a number that would go through. I got a cancellation number and an address in Aurora, CO to send the product back to. As soon as the product arrived, I returned it. The first credit card I had used was charged the $48.92. Since I had a cancelation number I figured that was the end of it. Since I had sent for both the "free" products, I checked by other credit card and it was charged only a shipping fee. I went ahead and paid that and figured that was the end of it. I then got the other product and I called again and received a 2nd cancellation number.

A few days later $99.77 was charged to my card. I am disputing that charge. about a week later I received another shipment. I called to find out why and they told me everything was cancelled and I should not be recieving anthing. Two days later, I received another shipment and was charged $58.00. I finally found a website for Premium white. I had been calling Dazzle Smile to cancel and even thought the person I talked to at Dazzle Smile told me that this was the same company, Premium White has a different phone number and their terms and conditions were updated 11-30-09 to state that they will not except Return to Sender items as my credit card company advised. They also state that if you have your bank dispute or reverse the charges, they will charge you $120 and send everything to a colleciton agency and ruin your credit. What can I do now?

My daughter ordered a trial size of Dazzle smile premium whitener. She told me to return and cancel any product that might be sent. When two packages arrived just several days apart I imediately returned the unopened product with a note writen on the package to cancel any further orders. At the same time they charged her credit card some $200.00. several weeks went by and no refund was recieved so we both started calling.

Each time one of us called we would receive a different reason why they could not refund her money. On one occasion I was told they tried to refund the money but her bank refused or blocked the return and she would have to work it out with the bank. She called the bank and no such thing had been done. When her and I called them back with this info they said they never told her any such thing. Than they told us that the order was canceled but the items were not returned before the 30 day scam period. Than they begain to ask for a tracking number.

This would prove we returned the product and when it arrived. Since I have never heard of having to prove we returned an item I never requested such a thing. Since this is so they will not give her a refund. Than I started asking them when they recieved the product and when they recieved the cancellation notice. On one occasion I was told they never received the product back, and on two other occasions they received it but after the 30 days. They also said they received the cancellation 2 weeks after they sent the product out.

When I told them the cancelltion notice was on the package of the product they refused to believe me and insisted it was given through a phone call. When I insisted back that was not the case they went back to I needed a tracking #.

I than asked them to send the product back to my daughter and they still refused even though they admitted they had rceived it. They would not return it without a tracking number. They have lied to us and now they have stolen my daughters money. Help. My daughter is a full time student and works only part time to support herself. This insident wipped out her bank account and she has not been able to afford to live.

i have the same problem, some place called pearly vision is illegally charging my credit card for smile brite and dazzel smile, i never got the smile brite but i did get the dazzel smile but it doesnt work and i call and call and i cant get a hold of anyone to mak them stop. its a total scam.DO NOT EVER ORDER EITHER OF THESE PRODUCTS. ITS A SCAM TO STEAL YOUR MONEY! I never subscrib subscribed and they are trying to charge me $92 for something i didnt even get. HELP!

Order a product was told that I would be charged a certain amount. Sent them a message saying to cancel. They said they would cancel it. Was charged 87.96. Called them back. They said that there was nothing they can do. I provided them with the email. They said that it was not good enough to give a refund. This email was from one of their operators. They stated that they would charge me again.

I went online to check e-mail & there was an ad stating a free trial for Dazzlesmile, just pay shipping. I did order my trial and it arrived about 7 to 10 days later. I did print out a statement with the shipping number and the shipping charge. I received my credit card statement just before Thanksgiving and found TWO charges for $87.62 six days apart. I've tried calling the number on my credit card several times and listened to a couple beeps and then goes to a dial tone. Shortly after I received another package which I did not open because I want to return it. Once again trying to call on several occasions at different times and the same thing happens. I've gone online at Dazzlesmile.com and there is not page. Further searching, I found this page. HELP! I don't know how to stop the charges.

I signed up for a 14day Free trial of a teeth whitening product online. The website no longer is active. I received the product and called and received a Return Authorization number and address(all verbally over the phone). I returned the used product via USPS Priority mail, but did not obtain a tracking number. The post office said the package would be delivered within the expiration of the Trial period.

The company has charged my debit card for the 1st month's membership and said my card would be credited once the Free trial has been received. I sent the free trial on Oct 7, 2009(which in reality is an empty tube of toothpaste which has no value). The free trial ended on Oct 15,2009(I was told verbally on the phone). The USPS said the return should within 5 business days.

I have since called the DazzleSmile Customer Service twice inquiring about a credit of my debit card for the first months membership. Each time I call, they claim that the return package has not been entered in the system and constantly ask for a Confirmation shipping number. Yes, they did recommend using a confirmation number but I have never had a problem returning a product without a confirmation number in the past. I now regret not obtaining the Confirmation number.

DazzleSmile is very deceitful, in that they are continually claiming the package has not arrived and will not credit my account. The return of the Free trial is a falacy anyway, since it is an unusable item. The return is just a reason to deny a refund. I have cancelled my membership and fortunately, the Debit card used is no longer active so DazzleSmile cannot make any more charges. I'm probably not going to get my refund. But I am logging this complaint so a record exists since I believe there to be other victims out there.

I was charged $87.62 on my debit card even though I mailed the free trial within the trial period. I have canceled my membership also within the Free trial period. I was also charged $24.82 for a "World Club Fitness" membership that was tacked on to the base membership. There was supposedly a pop-up defining this additional membership, but it was not obvious. This addtional membership was definitely deceitful.

I was on the Suzie Orman website looking for high interest banks, and this website came up, A house wife found these two products what can whiten you teeth as well as going to the dentist. All you have to do is pay $1.95 shipping and handling. Because the have your credit card number for this charge, they bill you for hundreds of dollars more all at the same time for a automatic billing for more of this product that they say you have to pay because you did not catch this and cancel. this is a scam.

On October 21, 2009 I ordered online a "free trial sample" of a tooth whitening product called DazzleSmile. That same day I receivd a call back from them regarding my automatic monthly shipments. I told them verbally that I did not want any monthly auto shipments and to cancel my order for the free trial if that is what it was about. They said OK.

a week later I received the free trial. Or what I thought was a free trial. Today, I received a call from my card company's fraud unit about two charges from EZ Beauty and Beauty Club for the same amunt $87.62 They denied one, but the other went thru. I immediatley called the company and they said they don't provide "free samples" and that since I had not returned the trial smaple in 14 days they were justified in billing for the auto shipments. I called my card company and asked the dispute resolution division to not pay the amount, but am not sure they can cancel payment.

DazzleSmile did cancel the auto ship and gave a cancellation number but based on what they said and what is on the killphishing website about his scam I am not expecting them to refund my moneyh even if I do send back the supposed free trial sample. This is a big fraud and I read on the internet site about it and cancelled my card to protect myslef.

I thought this was a legimitate offer as I linked to DazzleSmile's website off AOL and FOX News websites. This should be shut down. Cedit card charged $87.62 and I am not sure my card company will be able to reverve or dispute charges.

I saw an ad for Dazzle Smile Teeth Whitener which states you can try a trial size by just paying $1.95 for shipping and handling. I received the product (thinking it was a trial sample), I later saw a charge on my bank account for $87.62 from Dazzle Smile. A representative informed me that the trial size was actually my first product shipment which I will receive each month at $87.62 per month. Additionally, they charge a separate $2 international transfer fee each time they so a transaction with the customer. I informed rep that I had never intended to enroll in any membership and I wanted my money refunded. I was instructed to send the product back before I could be refunded and membership canceled. I followed the instructions and was refunded my money. Now a month later I see another another charge coming through my bank for $24.82 to World Club Fitness. I called them and they said I was enrolled into a membership for them through their sister company, Dazzle Smile.

I informed the rep. that I am disabled on social security income and never enrolled in any fitness membership. Rep informed that it was in the email sent to me from Dazzle Smile which I did not see any such enrollment. I informed rep that they are deliberately scamming the public and I wanted my money refunded. Rep told me that they could not refund my money because the money was a non-refundable set up once I signed up. They did accept the membership cancellation #725939. I asked if there were any other 'sister companies" floating around out there that Dazzle Smile is enrolling people in which the rep said a business called Weight Loss Resources. Luckily, I called Weight Loss Resources and they confirmed that I had not been enrolled in any membership with them. This is a scam and I want my $24.82 refunded to me and no more enrollment in any "sister companies". cc: Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Affairs

I ordered a free sample of dazzle smile which it stated you pay only for P&P. This arrived 15 days later. The product is quite good and was thinking about ordering some more then I saw some reviews stating that the company charges you $87.56 10 days later.

I contacted the company by live chat who eventually let me cancel my membership but said I would still be charged the $87.56 as I had received a month's supply. I did argue but got no where. At least I have managed to cancel my membership but will be getting in touch with watch dog to publicise this scam

I ordered a trial online and within a few minutes cancelled the order, because I read that it was a scam. I cancelled online and also through a phone and received a cancellation number. I was assured that I would not be receiving any product. A few days later, I got a package which I left unopened. A few weeks later I found that they charged my credit card. I called to ask about the charge and was told that I have to return the product before they can reimburse me. It is really an outrageous scam. I will send the unopened package back by certified mail so that they will not scam me.

I ordered the 40 day FREE trial of Dazzle Smile paying for shipping of $2.95 on October 2, 2009. I immediately got a call from them confirming my order. I asked if this was a continuous shipment type of thing and he said yes but I can cancel after I receive my FREE trial and he gave me a number. I called the number after I saw on WXYZ 11 o'clock news that these teeth whitening companies are scamming people and are a nightmare to cancel. I immediately called the next morning to cancel. They said no problem in cancelling but I will be charged $87.23 for my first shipment. I said I didn't want any shipments. But apparently, the FREE trial was my first shipment. The person told me that I agreed to the terms and conditions and that I should have read them. They were going to charge me on October 20th but I could send the product back by the 20th and they would credit my card. That is only 4 mailing days left from today and sending from Michigan to Colorado.

I was furious and told her that they better not charge me for this because it is false advertising. She said she would email me the address with instructions to return my product. Surprise!! I never received the email. So, I got on their website and talked to "Gail" a live chat person and told her that I reported them to the BBB and our local television new station and I wanted the return address to send back my product. She said she would send it to my email. Surprise!!! I called the 866 number again and finally, I got her to give me the address over the phone. After reading all the complaints here, I don't think sending back my product will do me any good and that I had better call my credit card company and put a block on these people or cancel my card.
