Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I ordered a "free" trial of said company's teeth whitening product. I received the product about 3 1/2 weeks later. I decided to send it back after I found out I only had a month to try it out before I had to return it. I contacted them and received the RMA number to be able to return it to them and promptly sent it back. Five days later, I checked my bank account online and found out I had been charged $86.93. Three days after that, I received another whitening stick from them. I called the company and was told they would look into it and call me back.

I called them back a week later, after having received no return call. They said that they had not received the product within the 30-day return window, and I explained to them that I had not received it until after 25 days had already passed. They said that they would "run it up the chain" and call me back. I again called them back 2 weeks later, after I had received another charge for $86.93 on my bank account.

They assured me that if I send back the product with shipment confirmation, then they would refund all my money. I promptly sent the new product back, along with the next shipment that I received 3 days later. I have not received any refund of any of my money despite countless calls to them, which as of late are not able to get through to anyone.

I ordered away for the free trial offer, which arrived with plain packaging and no paperwork. Days later, my credit card is charged $87 for this trial offer. Then it happens again, plus now, another $24 for some WorldFit membership. I wasn't even told about that. Somehow, I joined by agreeing to the trial offer of the tooth whitening!

Well, I called and canceled both. I got the hidden correct address to send the product back. Seems it made it back and they confirmed receiving it but promised a refund within 2 weeks. Now, 5 weeks later, still nothing and the best part, the email address they offer to follow up with the refund no longer works. I am out the $1.99 to start this mess. Then, two lumps of $87 for the little tube of gel and two smaller lumps of $24 for some fitness membership that wasn't even mentioned. Oh, plus shipping and handling to return product, so all together about $235.

On 11/6/09, I went online for a $2.50 sample and was subsequently charged $86.93 three times or a total so far of $260.79. I saw the $86 charges for the first time on 1/13/10. I may be able to get a refund for one of the charges if I jump through the hoops of returning the product. Also, I have to see if indeed there will be no future charges as I supposedly was able to cancel. This is very jarring.

I ordered the product to sample and try it (Premium White Tooth Whitener), when I received the package, there was nothing in the box and the package had been partially opened. I returned the package, return to sender and after requesting that the service be cancelled they still took out the $80 plus dollars out of my account and have promised to credit my account, still 25 days later, have yet to credit my account.

This company has proven to be a scam which just takes your money. I am a single mother, just lost my main paying day job (I was working two jobs), and I did not have the extra income for them to take the money arbitrarily after I had cancelled the order. I am on the verge of losing the home I live in the car I drive and nearly $100 dollars is a true set back for me at this very hard time. I truly need the money returned right away.

I ordered a trial of their teeth whitening gel for $1.95. Unbeknownst to me, (1) they now claim that the $1.95 was for S&H ONLY, not the cost of the product, and (2) they claim that I signed up for an auto refilling of an order and have been charging my credit card without me knowing it until my bill arrived today. I have had to file a dispute with my credit card company today (Chase Card Services). Company refused to refund me. I am returning ALL product (2 units received to date) via USPS). This company should be stopped from making unauthorized charges, regardless of their excuse.

I saw this ad on Yahoo's webpage for a free sample of SmileBright, just give my credit card for shipping. Shortly there after I received it and called to cancel. At that time I was told it was cancelled. That was it, nothing else until I received by credit card statement today. It seems that every 30 days there would be a new product sent, but from my credit card statement, they charged 8 days after the first time they charge my card for the full amount of 86.93 each time. Not only did they list a special discount on shipping and handling for $1, but made it clear that you could cancel. When I called again today, they said they never talked to me before and I had not cancelled the product so I had to pay. I'm contacting the Attorney General of MA to see what can be done with this company. From this site I see they are making a living on this free sample scheme and continue to charge the credit card even though they have been asked to stop, it continues.

i ordered the product but never got it. i was then billed $44.12 because i had not returned it. i never received the item so how could i return it within 10 days? i called to complain but they refused to return my money. this is a rip off! my debit card was illegally billed for $44.12 and want a refund and the company shut down.

I canceled my FREE trial and they told me that I will not be charged for it. However, apperantly they did charged me even before I got it in the mail. The cherge was not reimbersed after I canceled the trial. Then they chaged my credit card again even if they told me that my memebership is canceled and I will recieve no further shipments. In total I lost 165 dollars and the stuff didn't even work. I think this company just steals people caredit card numbers and get the money this way. I have to cancel my credit card because I do not beleive calling them will help. They will tell me again that it was canceled and give me the cancelation number. I am sure a month later they will send me another package and charge me another 80 dollrs for it. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!

My husband and I each signed up for a trail offer, one of us selected Ortho White and the other Premium White. However, when I recieved the Ortho White trial package they had already deducted 87.00 from our checking account. I call the morning following the evening I recieved my package to return it only to find out I only had 8 days from the time they start processing it to get it, trial it, and return it to them. Yes 8 days. Now how can you receive, trail and return a package in 8 days. Needless to say I was outside the "window" and had to eat the 87 dollar loss.

So, we immediately called Premium White to cancel any accout we had with them but the package had already shipped. When we received the package we called and they did say we could return it bacause we were within their "window" of return period. We did that. Yep, you guessed it the took out 87 more dollars. This time I disputed it with my bank. We'll see what happens. BUT now another unauthorized charge to FitWorld showed up. I called them and they said we signed up for access to a website on Fitness when we signed up for the Premium White. I'll have to dispute that charge tomorrow. We may just have to change debit cards.

My primary complaint is a hidden fee of $86.93 charged to my account. As many other customers have documented, I agreed to a free trial, having only to pay a samll shipping charge of $1.95. The website indicated they are endorsed by Consumer Reports, CNN, ABC news, etc. I received a very small tube in an equally small box, with no instructions or shipping invoice.

Two weeks later my account was charged an additional $86.93. The problem is, that by the time I received my bill, and contacted the company, they said that my 30 day return window ended the next day. I attempted to return the product via Fed Ex, but the shipping fees were nearly $70. I want my money back and will not stop until this company is brought into the spotlight as the scammers that they truly are. In addition to losing nearly $90 for a worthless product, I have had to spend hours trying to recoup the money that I worked hard to earn!

I purchased a trial offer for $1.95 and a month later the company, without my knowledge or consent, debited my credit card an additional $86.93. Upon calling the company, I was told I agreed to this, in terms and agreement, that I had never seen, or would never agreed. Everything I saw and read, stated TRIAL OFFER!

When I called the company, the customer service reps were rude, and would not put me thru to a supervisor. These charges cost me overdraft fees, and I had to cancel my debit card, to prevent further charges. (There was another $86.93 charge pending).

I had a fraudulent experience with this tooth whitening free trial offer under the name of Premium White Pro. It began with their web pages listing fraud reports of moms discovering the tooth whitening secret and a link for their "free trial offer."

ON 11/16 I was contacted by the fraud department of my credit card company asking if I had authorised a suspicious charge of $87.50 (made in a vending machine, by the way) by a company calling themselves Brite SMile. I told them that I had only authorized a $1.95 shipping charge for a free trial product, which had appeared on the credit card a few days earlier, but not the $87.50.

I immediately tried calling the number listed on the e-mail receipt, but I was put on hold "waiting for the next rep" for about 15 minutes. After which time, I hung up, packaged the product back in it's original envelope complete with my name, e-mail receipt and order # and sent it back first class mail. For which I have a receipt. Let me say that the info on how to return and cancel the "free trial offer" is hidden in fine print at the top of the web page when you place your free trial offer and it doesn't appear on your screen unless you scroll up and look for it. I never saw it.

I went back to their web page after I returned the product and looked for it. It took me two tries and printing out the page before I found it!! All legitimate companies request a box to be checked indicating that the consumer has read and understands the "trial" offer " return policy. This is a deliberate and intentional design to deceive and rip off consumers.

Two days after I mailed the product back my credit card company called to say that I had to reconcile the dispute with Brite smile as I had "apparently" ordered this product with a trial offer, etc.. I called Brite smile back and on the second or third try I reached a rep who said that my subscription was officially cancelled and I received an e-mail later that day confirming it. However, it has now been 20 days since I returned the product and I'm still waiting for my credit card to be credited.

they send you a free trial and dont explain that you sign up for a membership of monthly charges of $70 for tooth whitener. you have 14 days to try the product, but they take 10 days to process your return, so there is actually no possible way to avoid incurring the first month charge. In addition, they have no way of making sure you receive your product.

their return policy is not outlined on the terms and conditions the way they instruct you at the 'live chat' on the website.

Negative option marketing in which we took advantage of a "free trial" offer of teeth whitening product, only to find out after the fact that they are hitting us for $90 in "membership" charges each month. Have reviewed website - this membership is disclosed on the site, but is not affirmatively accepted when ordering the free trial product. Efforts to obtain refunds have been met with resistance and stalling.

Premium White Has a web site and is offering a trial size product for 1.99 ok. I knew nothing until yesterday 10/27 that premium White took 87 Dollars from my checking account. I used my debit card for the 1.99. There is nothing or any info on there home page thats tells of there future with me about the 87 dollars.

i finally got a phone # to call and was told that I was supposed to call PW before I returned there Product. The web site does not disclose that info either. I was told that I would just half to wait an see what happens. The operator said he had no idea when or if I could be refunded. This company is clearly ripping people off. it is a Internet Crime. premium White also said every 30 days they would debit my account 87 dollars.

Can someone please help me. I am a single parent and now i am out over 90 dollars counting 1.99 trail. 87 for there Debit and the cost of shippng. And if I cant get them to stop I am out more money. There site needs to be shut down and forced to refund me.

I saw a news piece on the Internet about a woman who found that using two different teeth whitening products produced amazing white teeth for her. After clicking on to the article and seeing her story I got on one of the web sites where she said she purchased trial offers. The trial offer is stated as be free and you would only pay for the shipping of $1.95

The name of the product is Premium White. I got on to their web site and decided to order their free trial product. I read the entire page and then decided to order my sample and only have to pay $1.95 shipping. I clicked on to where it said to order (reading everything on that page too) and then filled in the order form including my visa information. The site then said to click on another arrow to fill the order and proceed to get my confirmation/order number. Once you click to the order number page and after you have given your visa number there is small print that has a heading of "Offer Details:". The offer details state you are going to automatically get charged $48.92 and are enrolled in a monthly club where you will receive additional products unless you call and cancel.

When you read the entire details it says you will be sent and charged theses additional products for agreeing to click on to their trial extension. Below this "offer details" description is a box for a "NO and one for a "YES" that you are suppose to choose and click on. I choose the "NO" box and clicked on it.

I became concerned about this web site and regretted my order immediately. Even though I clicked the "NO" box I became worried that I would get products and be charged. I felt that if this company would not reveal there "offer details" until after getting my credit card number then they are perhaps a scam.

I called the cancellation number that was on the web site within moments and was put on hold for about 10 minuets. The person who answered would only give his first name as "Fernie" which I asked him to spell. He told me that he could not give his last name or the name and address of the company or where he was located. He would only give me an address as a distribution, corporate address, yet, no corporate name. The address was: 3600 Army Post Rd Des Moines, Iowa 50321.

I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they were busy and could not come to the phone. I asked for the name of the person who was of the highest authority there and to speak to him. I was told he could not come to the phone and that only his first name of "Victor" could be given.

I asked "Fernie" to cancel my order. He replied that it had been canceled and that my cancellation number was #624787. He then informed me that even though my order had been canceled I was going to receive a product that I would be charged for and I must the return cost to get a refund. I told him that I did not want anything sent to me and I did not want to have to pay to return anything at all and that I wanted a full cancellation.

I told him that I had just placed the order and that it could not have even been processed yet, let alone, shipped out. He replied that there was nothing he could do and this product would absolutely be coming and I would have to pay to have it sent back in order to get a refund. This statement confirmed my suspicions that even though I had clicked on the "NO", I do not want the extension offer, I was going to be sent this unwanted and unordered product.

What good was a canceling the order for the free trial offer and getting a cancellation number if they are not canceling my order and are still going to send me their product and bill my visa card?????

I got very angry and felt very frustrated so I raised my voice and then apologized to "Fernie" telling him I was sorry I was raising my voice to him. I realize he is just an employee working for this company and was told not to give out any names or information and that he had no power to do anything. But I told him that I thought what the company was doing was illegal. It is definitely deceitful and not giving full disclosure before asking for a credit card payment.

I was under the impression that if you do not order something and it is sent to you then you cannot be charged for it. I also thought that you do not have to pay out of your pocket to return the unordered item either. I don't mind returning an unordered item it it comes with a pre-paid return.

I feel bad that many others are getting scammed the same way that I have. This company need to either get shut down or forced to give any "Offer Details" BEFORE a customer has to give payment for an order. I also do not want to be stuck paying anything for this unordered and canceled product.

How can you help me? Is this company doing something illegal? What are my rights as a consumer regarding this? I am going to call Visa and see if I can stop this company from billing my visa account.
