Consumer Complaints & Reviews

They called and said I would receive a credit card with a limit of $2500.00 if I paid $149.00 for the annual fee. They took it out of my account and I have never heard a word from them.

A company called and stated they would give my a credit card with a processing fee of $149.95. I paid the processing fee by check(over the phone). The check cleared on 1/17/2001 and they said my card would be here two weeks later. I called back after two weeks and they said they were behind and it will take up to four weeks. Every time I call the number they gave it picks up and switches to a busy signal.

I needed the money I sent them, expecting to receive the card in 2 weeks. I was also expecting to go to Texas in April for my wife's reunion with the card. I lost my hotel reservations and I am behind on my bills because of the loss of the $150.00.

Was contacted by Zephyr Marketing unsolicited by phone. Person told me that for a one-time fee of $149.00 I would recieve a Visa card that had a $2,500 credit limit, 8.9% lifetime interest rate and no annual fee. She also told me that I would recieve the card in two to three weeks. I charged the advance fee to a Mastercard.

Six weeks into the process I had not revieved the card so I called the number that had been displayed on my Caller ID. After many attempts someone answered the phone and said this number was for marketing only and gave me another number for customer service. After many further attempts with the new number (over about two weeks) someone answered that phone.

She stated that they were running behind and give it a couple of more weeks. Well I did. Still do not have a Visa card. Nine days ago I began calling the Customer service number daily. All I have gotten is a message to leave my name and number and they will return my call. They have not returned my call. I have filed a chargeback request with Mastercard on this matter.
