I was in Fairfax, VA at Homestead Studios from Sept. 4th to 11th. I called a DC escort service, Gentle Touch (also called Choices, Inc). They sent a young woman to my hotel. I chatted with the woman. I gave her $360 for 4 hours of time. We agreed to meet at a restaurant a few blocks away. She drove and I walked. She never showed up.
When I repeatedly called the company, they gave me the runaround. Eventually I cornered someone on the phone. They addressed me with severe profanity and told me that they weren't a "sexual escort service". The topic of sex was NEVER discussed or even intimated when I met and spoke with the escort. I feel that I was flagrantly ripped off.

In this and other variants of the oldest profession, the general rule is that one pays one's money and takes one's chances. James probably was ripped off but we doubt he could easily recover his losses.
