In regards to Ed of Tracy, in our initial meetings, I had explained to him that his credit, after repair could increase up to 100 points. During the process, there were numerous documents relating to the repair that were not returned in a timely fashion and this caused delays. I never stated that he could buy a house in 3 months but that he possibly could in as little as 3 months to a year. He also needed to establish trade lines per FHA guidelines. There were certain items that we were still working on getting removed in order to have him qualify for a home loan.
When he did come in to the office, he was very demanding and impatient and wanted to re-pull his credit. We could not re-pull his credit until the process was complete and he did not want to wait it through. Yes, Ed did decide to end his relationship with Platinum One and I did send him out a payment of $588 due to the fact that it was the amount of his last payment installment and felt that was a fair amount to return after all the work that had been previously completed on his account for 5-1/2 months.
After he received the payment, he contacted me because he was very unhappy and extremely agitated. At that point, I decided it was best to just give him what he had asked for and immediately had someone personally deliver the remaining balance of $212 in the form of a cashier's check to which he accepted. So he did receive the full $800. He did express to me verbally that when he pulled his credit, it did increase over 50-80 points. I tried to help him as much as I could but our sister company could not approve him until his credit issues were resolved. He was the one demanding and rude relating to our service. We made good on his credit and he technically only paid half the price. He got a bargain! We wish them the best and hope that he does get a home for his family.
