I chose the second plan because he said it would solve the problem within two years.
To day, I have an over expanded upper jaw, I am still wearing the expander for the past year and 8 months (when I should have only worn it for 6 months), and I have about 4 mm gap in between my front teeth, which can't be closed or filled with an implant.
From the day the expander stopped working (6 months after the beginning of treatment) the doctor didn't know what to do further. Ever since then he is experimenting, sent me to extract all of my wisdom teeth, sent me to a bone graft surgery which turn out that I didn't need but cost me $2,700. Now he offers to close back the gap (make my jaw smaller after he over expanded it) and give me some of my money back.
It is clear that he doesn't know what he is doing and how to get out of this. I have consulted other orthodontists, dentists and surgeons, and they all said that the way my teeth look today after a year and 8 months of treatment, he didn't know what he was doing. It is clear that this doctor is not skilled enough nor can be trusted to further "take care" of my situation. Nor only he did not follow the contract and resolved the problem, but has made my teeth worse than they were to begin with.
When I went to his office to discuss the case, he had accused other doctors, and refused to take reponsibility for his actions. At the same time he offered me some of my money back.
I demand not sum but all of my money back to compensate for not even a third of what I had already spent because of his negligence.
