for $340 Dollars, I declined and said I wanted a regular cleaning that my Insurance co. said my co-pay was $22. Dr.Kim of Valencia Dental on Valencia blvd in Valencia Calif. Told me either I pay the $340 cleaning or no cleaning at all. I thought it is my right to refuse medical treatment which would have included shots and scraping below my gums. No way did I want that.
The public should be aware of this dental rip off trying to run up a bill.
The greed of some doctors are so shameful. This Dr.s idea of a check-up was to take x-rays and look in my mouth for 2 sec. not even probing or taking a good look. I was so shocked to have a Dr. tell me pay him $340 or just forget a cleaning on my first check up with this office. So beware of these rip off artists.
