Exempla customer service department is terrible. They only provide 1 phone number to contact. I called this number this morning before work to discuss a medical bill. I waited on hold listening to their marketing advertisments for 25 minutes (no exageration) and never reached a person. I had to hangup and go to work. So then on my lunch hour I called them back, again, it took 27 minutes and finally a cold, unfriendly, girl answered the phone. No apologies or remorse for the very long delay I endured to speak with someone. She did not say hi, or introduce herself, she just barked commands at me..."whats your account number? Whats your address? Whats your phone number? what do you want?
I called her out on her surly attitude and the incredibly long delay to reach someone and she did not apologize just barked at me that they are doing the best they can. The insurance companies are making record profits and they can't staff their customer service lines. Exempla health care is horrible and I feel bad for anyone that has to attempt to work with these people.
