On January 14,2010, I went to the foot clinic to make an appointment to see the doctor; upon my arrival I did show my insurance cards to the doctor's secretary, Mrs. **. She looked at the cards and said, "Yes, no problem; we accept your insurer" but only one thing, that I will have to pay them whatever money at the time that I see the doctor and then she will help me out to submit the claim form in order to get my money back from my insurance company. I gladly approved. In a meeting that we have with the health insurance company, we were told that some providers will ask us to pay them with our money at the time of service and then they will send it back to us.

So we go ahead and made the appointment to see the doctor on January 14, 2010. I went and saw the doctor. Every thing was fine until a few days later, I called the insurance company and they told me that the Foot Clinic is not part or their network. Consequently, I will have to pay 275 dollars to my credit card company. I used the credit card to pay the doctor visit hoping to get my money back from my insurance company. So I feel being misled by the Foot Clinic secretary and I want the charge back to my credit card company. Thank you.
