Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I gave them a silk tie to dry clean because it had an ink spot. When I picked it up, the spot was gone, but the tie was completely torn on the back, and looked like it was just taken out of a garbage bin. When I complained, the person who claimed she was the manager of the store was extremely rude, said the tie was like that when I gave it to them, refused to do anything about it and said I would have to pay them if I wanted them to fix it. She refused to give any numbers to reach the owner of the store.

The tie was about two years old, was bought for about $80. I have not checked the repair cost, but I do not believe it can be effectively restored.

I had a business suit dry-cleaned at Festival Cleaners. The suit was returned to me following cleaning with a small hole in the sleeve of the suit jacket. Festival refuses to repair or pay for repair of the damage.

The repair estimate is $40. I have already expended two trips to Festival, and two telephone calls. The two telephone calls and the second visit were very upsetting to me as the manager I spoke with was rude and very argumentative. During those encounters I was called a liar and told that I didn't understand anything.
