The establishment accepted three (3) bags of clothes for "wash and fold" service to be ready for pick up the following week. When I came to pick up the clean laundry, I was told that the owner took our laundry and it was stolen while in her possession during the process of being washed and dried at a local laundromat. I met with the owner, wrote two demand letters asking for replacement cost with no response.

We lost nearly 14 lbs. of clothing which we itemized with an estimated value of $500.
