In our local paper there was an ad for students to request a booklet to help assist them in financial aid and scholarship information. They asked for $2.00 to cover the cost of the booklet. I sent the $2.00. Several months later, I came across the canceled check and realized that I never received the information from the company. I then sent a photocopy of the canceled check (front and back) along with a letter requesting to forward the booklet which I never received.
I received the envelope back with the information stamped on the front "Return to sender, company no longer operational." I realize that it is only $2.00 but what if 100 hundred people sent for this book. Could you please tell me what happened to this company? My booklet? My check? I just thought it would be important for you to know of this company.
