I sent this company my diplomas to get professional licensing/certification, and the staff assigned to my case called me to question every single degree that I had presented. I am a teacher and translator of English, graduated from the National Institute of Professors of Rosario, Argentina, affiliated to the Ministry of Education.
I am an interpreter and translator of French with a degree issued from the Ministry of Education of France through the Alliance Francaise, where I took my exams. I have a First Certificate in English and a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Cambridge, England. The evaluator questioned the validity of every single diploma, saying that they had not been issued by certified institutions, that I had not studied enough to qualify for a bachelors degree, that the information that I had sent was irrelevant because the Alliance Francaise is nothing and the the degrees from Cambridge are just for English as a second language. I challenged every argument but he would not listen, he was arrogant, offensive and narrow-minded and he offered to send everything back to me to have my degrees evaluated by another company, to which I agreed, taking into account his utter lack of professionalism and objectivity.
I was hurt and humiliated, I have valid degrees issued in Argentina, France and England and this evaluator made me feel that all the years that I devoted to studying the English and French language didn't amount to anything. I took many hours to paintakingly assemble the diplomas, have them translated and notarized, sent a cashier's check for $210 and sent my package through certified mail, only to have a rude, obstinate person, whose only claim to expertise was that he "spoke Spanish", tell me that he was going to send everything back and implying that my degrees were bogus.
The whole setup was so unprofessional that I could even hear a dog barking in the background. I have contacted World Credential Evaluators by phone and e-mail to get this person's name but so far I have received no reply. Now, I have to wait for the package and the check in the mail, and start all over again with another company.
