Lyle of Morrison, CO on Dec. 31, 2003
I am a 60-year old grandfather who answered an ad to earn extra money by selling skin care products to nursing homes. I gave Spring Research $4,250 for inventory. Before the inventory was shipped to me, I decided to quit the business and I cancelled the order. Spring Research did not send me any product and now will not return my money. There was no agreement to give them money for anything other than product inventory.
I used a credit card check to purchase the inventory. Now I am saddled with a large credit card debt.
Lyle undoubtedly signed some kind of contract when he decided to pursue this "opportunity." He needs to take that contract to an attorney ... fast. He should also dispute the charge with his credit card issuer if he has not already done so.
