Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I'm not sure if this is the right place to complain about this but I can't seem to find a contact link for the NBA. I'm watching the Lakers vs. Dallas basketball game (19 Jan 11) and on at least three occasions, the Dallas bench yelled that the Lakers violated the offensive three-second rule and the officials deemed that it was violated. However, the Lakers did not come close to violating the rule. In fact, they were in the key 1-2 seconds. The officials need to learn how to tell time. It really appears that the officials are either biased against the Lakers, or the officials are involved in some funny business. They need to be held accountable.

Purchased shirt for my wife, it was damaged when I received it. We shipped it back, and never received a new shirt or a refund. Contacted them several times by email and phone to no avail.

I was out $30.00

I am happy that David Stern has an interest in cleaning up the basketball league. Fights with fans in stands, drug use, and gang affiliations are very important factors that need to be dealt with harshly.

With that being said, I really think that the dress code idea has gone way overboard. Changing clothing on a felon is not going to alter any actions the player will take on or off the court.

I own a successful business, and also run a non profit group. Sometimes I wear a baseball hat. Maybe I have a dress shirt on without a collar. My shoe of choice is sandals, worn without socks. Does this mean I cannot be successful and that I portray a bad image to my customers?

There is a generational difference between the older crowd, who enjoys dressing up, versus the younger generation, who has found a different look for respectability. Our generation does not view clothing conformities in the same light as the older generation.

If it's a matter of larger corporations putting pressure on the dress rules, I would not buy it. Will Bank Of America not sell as many loans because Kevin Garnett wore Nike's into the area? Will Honda not sell a few less cars because the 15th man on the roster has his sport coat off while watching the game?

Sorry, but I don't find substansial evidence that Burger King will sell less Whoppers because Kobe Bryant is wearing gold chains to walk into his worksite.

My family of five go to one Suns game and one Clippers game every year. If we are travelling the country we will try to catch an extra game or two every year. Because of this blast toward my generation, I will not be spending hundreds-thousands of dollars this year on your game. Furthermore, I will not sport any of your NBA jerseys until there is some kind of modification that allows creativity and diversity in the workplace.

I urge the NBA to ease up on some of these rules about to go into effect. My family watches the NBA to watch the heart and determination of Allen Iverson on the basketball court, NOT by what he wears into the arena.
