I have commercial controls that work intermittently and last a short time. These same parts from the same companies used to last for 30+ years. They now last 0 days sometimes or two weeks or 1 year.
I incurred cost to go to the customer and replace them, wholesaler's cost to process the warranty part, and the cost to ship them back. Then there's the end user's and the wholesaler's frustration of junk parts!
Mexico and China employees do not know how to make quality parts, and the companies are competing on cost of manufacturing basis. They need to compete on quality basis. There is no value in cheap parts or cheap prices on consumer goods.
